About Us
Welcome to St. Edward the Confessor Anglican Catholic Church. St. Edward’s is the Cathedral Church of the Diocese of the Midwest and the seat of the Bishop of the Midwest. St. Edward’s is served by The Rt. Rev. Rommie M. Starks, Bishop of the Midwest; The Very Rev. J. Charles King, Ph.D., Dean of the Cathedral and Rector of St. Edward’s; The Rev. Fr. Daniel J. Jennings, Curate; and the Rev. Fr. G. Terry Boesen, Curate.
We are Anglican because our practice of the faith is rooted in the tradition of the Church of England and the Book of Common Prayer. We are Catholic because we believe and practice the ancient faith of the church.
During our services we use the 1928 Book of Common Prayer, the Anglican Missal, and the 1940 Hymnal. We celebrate the Seven Sacraments of the Church and maintain an all male priesthood.
